Mitch Johnson Faces Up To Chifley College Students

 April 5, 2017

How do you share advice on goal setting, preparation, team work and resilience with a group of Year 10 students, and somehow ensure to get the messages across?

Blackwoods brand ambassador Mitchell Johnson recently paid a visit to the students and teachers of Chifley College Shalvey Campus, and faced up to the tough question of the student leaders.

The more than 70 students that attended heard stories from Johnson about his career, and how he learned to juggle priorities, be organised and self-motivated, identify areas for improvement, and importantly how to cope with, learn from and bounce back from adversity.

Johnson was impressed to hear that in April, two of the students will commence a year-long school based trainseeship with Blackwoods as part of their curriculum, and was also delighted to present the school with a signed bat, carrying an inspirational message created by the students, for the students.
